Bought this kit at a model show a few years back and thought it would make a fun, quick build.  Built it straight out of the box.  Fit of the parts wasn't too bad (for a thirty year old kit) with the worst being the forward wing to fuselage area and where the speed brake assemblies attach to the rear fuselage.

Model was painted with Model Master paints and clearcoated with Future before decaling.  Decals went on without any problems, but they are so thin that the red paint on the wings shows through the white on the national insignias.  Dullcoted the entire model after everything was dry.

Although this was a fun OOB build, I'd love to see some resin/photoetch updates for this kit,or maybe an entirely new kit ...hey, I can dream, can't I?
