Turkey Victory Day 2009

Hello all,

This is my 1:48 Tamiya Fw190A-3a3 in Turkish markings.  72 of these birds served in TuAF between 1943-1947 years.  The Fw190A-3a3 is export version of basic Fw190A-3.  Only difference is removed wing roots.  Planes arrived in different camos; RLM 65/02/70, RLM 74/75/76 and some of them painted to dark green and blue (probably azur blue of duck egg green).

Fw190A-3a3s served in Bursa air regiment (Bursa  hava alayi) where my family lives..that makes that plane a bit more special for me..

There is no need to talk much about the kit; parts fit well without a big putty work (that is why we love Tamiya!)  And  for aftermarket I used Eduard's colored seatbelts and Turquise decals.  Board numbers are printed by Mr. Cagri Acikgöz (Thanks goes to him!) RLM Paints were from modelmaster, red is Humbrol.

I would like to Thank my buddy Ayhan for giving this kit to me and pass my regards to my bro Emad from Lebanon.

happy modelling ..
