This item was built from the Eduard Limited Edition Sharkmouths Over China Kit for the P-40 M/N.  I chose to build the P-40 N Flying Tiger with Taiwanese markings flown by the Chinese Ace Wang Kwang Fu.  His 6.5 kills earned him the honor flying missions during WWII against the Japanese.

Eduard's kit is an old mold and has plenty of fit issues especially at the wing roots.  The two PE sets including one color zoom for the cockpit help a great deal.

Eduard also includes a nice resin set as well as paint masks, helping to make this build better.  I would recommend it to a more experienced molder due to all of the small PE pieces and  the fit difficulties.  Although the decal sheet supplied was more than adequate, I used a set of Aeromaster decals.  They went on well with future and Microset but were a little bit thick.  The tail decal did not line up well, so I ended up painting on the white and blue stripes.  Model Master enamels were used for this project
