Here is my F-15C Eagle from Tamiya that I built out of box. This was a nice model to build and it went together pretty good without to much filling and sanding.

I did the airframe in light  grey with a grey blue camo scheme. I used an air brush for that effect with a thin spray nozzle. I detailed the cockpit and landing gear as best I could. I loaded it to the hilt with weapons. I know the C versions of the Eagles are all air superiority fighters now, but I thought it would be nice to show of the old style look of the Eagle from the eighties. It has 2 GBU-24 Paveway III Bombs, 2 AGM-88 Harm Missiles with homemade pylons, 6 Aim 120-C AMRAAM Missiles and 2 Aim-9M Sidewinder Missiles. I also added a GPS Antenna on the fuselage spine just past the cockpit. I wanted to show the variety of weapons that the old style Eagles could carry. I used decals from Two Bobs from the 58th Tactical Fighter Squadron from Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. This particular aircraft has three kills for the downing of enemy aircraft During the 1991 Gulf war in Iraq.  The 58th, from my understanding was the only unit to get as many kills during the Gulf War as any other squadron that participated during the first weeks of the war.

I love this Aircraft as much as I love the Tomact I built. It will always be an astonishing and powerful air combat aircraft of its time and I think will be around for quite a while. Enjoy my model.
