Here I have the 1/48 F-18E of VFA-122. This was a special build for my 2 year old nephew. Everything is OOB, very nice fit on all the pieces. No heavy modifications were made, as this was highly detailed kit. I decided to paint the cockpit, vice using decals. I am very happy with the result. It is weathered with charcoal sticks. The paint is Model Master Light Ghost Grey, and the tires are coated with rubber paint. This was an easy and enjoyable build.

I couldn't resist but to take a picture next to its stable mate, the EA-18G. I did this to give a side by side view of the 2 Rhino's together. Looks great!!

I hope you enjoyed my F-18E, and hopefully my nephew enjoys it on display for many years to come.
