This is a What If model of a production version of the F-20.  The 1/72 Hasegawa kit has to be one of the best kits I've built so far.  The fit is great, the panel line detail is great etc...  Needless to say, I was happy the way this build turned out.

I elected to paint it up in a Mod Eagle scheme to depict the F-20 in a fighter or interceptor role. The Oregon ANG seems to epitomize this role over the years with their F-4s, F-16 ADFs and F-15s, so I found a Superscale sheet to use.  I felt that this particular pose would suit its intended role as well.

In addition to the Superscale decals, I used AIM-120s and AIM-9s from the Hasegawa weapons set.  Everything else was OOB.  It was a true joy to build.
