Hello from Greece to my good friends.
The island of Kalymnos is located in beautiful eastern Aegean see in my country.  This name was given to the YS-11 of the Olympic Airways call sign BBQ in early 1970. These aircraft for almost a decade performed domestic services and then were delivered to the Hellenic Air Force for transport duties.

Hasegawa made a very good kit with good detail and thin engraved lines. This kit has few parts and the instructions are easy to follow.  No aftermarket items were used.  A few improvements in cockpit and wheel bay are scratch.  I used after market decals from Livery Unlimited (A4-121). They have excellent accuracy, but the film is hard and brittle and needed patience in putting on the model.

The model was painted with Alclad metallic colors . The upper surfaces were painted with Model Master gloss white.
I will be glad if you enjoy my work
