I've enjoyed building this model that much that I've built it twice, firstly the A-6E version with a Wolfpack wing fold set and now this A-6A version.

There is a noticeable difference when fitting the air intakes after the assembling them as the A-6A version fits beautifully but beware on the A-6A, this is a very tight fit and there is a risk of damaging the intake assembly when fitting.  Also if building the cockpit steps in the raised position it is best advised to fit them after the intakes as a fair bit of Perfect Plastic putty and paint matching may be needed afterwards.

My favourite choice of paints to complete the colour scheme is Mr Hobby Aqueous H307 FS36375) for the overall paint as I was not too happy with the specified Light Gull H315 (FS16440) look, undersurfaces were painted with White Insignia.
