After a modelling diet of economical Hobbyboss Easy Assembly kits, this Fujimi product was quite expensive for me. Only reason I bought it was to use up the Hasegawa Fuel Truck and my local Nanjing, China model shop didn't have much in the way of other Japanese WW2 aircraft.

It came in the most boring kit box I have ever seen with what appeared to be a black and white picture of the real machine on the lid. Inside, the general feeling of boredom persisted - nothing wrong with the kit whatsoever - just that there was nothing very interesting about it either.

It was brush-painted with Tamiya acrylics, weathered with silver dapple applied with scrap sponge.

The Hasegawa Fuel Truck is much more interesting. Originally made some thirty years ago, like all such airfield products from this company it really is quite excellent. The accompanying bomb trolley I should say comes from the companion Toyota Starter Truck.

Corner scrap on the diorama is just random spares box stuff. "Grass" is tea.
