This is my first entry to the ARC and I am glad to present  this MI-35M model.  Done during the Corona lockdown phase, this has been built from a Zvezda 1:72 kit . The kit itself is very complex and is not advisable for beginners. It has around 290 parts and a detailed guide with 35 steps . The kit has option to display the engine and the transmission details and also the enclosed one. I opted for the enclosed option for this model.

I started with the cockpit and it had a good fit. My only comment is that the cockpit could have engraved instrument panels and decals could have been better. After completing the cockpit, I move to the rear storage compartment which is detailed and has a bench to sit 4 soldiers. Post this, the two fuselage halves were assembled. This step required some sanding for better alignment particularly over the engine area. The trickiest part of the build was assembling the 5 piece bubble canopy. It took half a day just to ensure alignment and proper fit. There are lots of weapon options provided and I opted to go with the rocket launchers and the anti-tank missiles. The entire kit was painted in slate gray.

Conclusion: A great 1:72  kit which l feel is the most accurate for the MI-35m today. Tiny parts and delicate decals is a challenge, however you will never be disappointed with the end result.
