Both 1/72 Hasegawa Su-35 kits were built out of box with the addition of some Begemot decals for number “902”.  Aircraft stands are included with the kit.  DN Models camo mask set was used for “ 901”.  Tamiya yellow green, Tamiya brown darken with black, and Mr. Color dark green made up the pallet for the first prototype.  Allcad steel, gunmetal, blue, green, airframe aluminum, and jet exhaust detailed the cans.

“902” was masked with simple Tamiya tape. Paints used were Mr. Color white, Tamiya neutral grey, and Tamiya Field Blue.

Pre-shading was done with simple gloss black and the panel lines were done with Tamiya panel line paint.  A layer of Pledge floor finish was followed by Testors semi-gloss.  The Hasegawa Su-35s kits came together with very minimum gaps and fit beautifully.  The interior detail of the kit is a bit sparse but I’m sure a Eduard photo etch kit would fill the void.
