This is my 1/48 Tamiya Beau finished in Coastal Sqn 236 colours. The kit was built straight from the box and painted using Humbrol enamels. Pre-shading was applied to the entire airframe before airbrushing the invasion stripes.

After masking these off the upper and lower surfaces were airbrushed in their appropriate colours. Semi-gloss acrylic  varnish was then applied  before starting the laborious task panel lining. For this black artists oil paint was used. Finally, the decals were applied along with exhaust and gun port staining. From start to finish the kit took about 1 week to complete and I was well pleased with the result.

The "flying" shot was created using photoshop. Removing the original background and the undercarriage was easy enough but the background it is shown against is more than a little dodgey! Never mind, it's the best I could do. Yet another outstanding kit from Tamiya that fits together like lego. Unreservedly recommended! Go and buy one. NOW!
