1/48 Hasegawa Hawker Hurricane IIc

Hi guys! This is my first post here, but not my first model. This is a Hawker Hurricane IIc as flown by the Irish Air Corps from March 1945 until around 1947. The kit used was the Hasegawa 1/48 Hurricane IIc JT 51. It went together well, with few problems.

The main decals, the celtic bosses, the numbers and the under-wing stripes,  are from Max Decals 48-001 and Max Decals 72-003/48-002. The wing stripes sheet is a joint 1/72 and 1/48 scale sheet. As the purists may note, the stripes on my model do not extend to the wing leading edge, but in reality they should. Thing is, they ran out and I cannot seem to get anymore, so.......

I was quite pleased with the panel-line work on this one. Seems as if I might finally be getting the hang of this hobby!
