1/72 Hasegawa F/A -18D
First is the Hornet on the display stand. This is a 1/72 Hasegawa OOB except for decals of course.

I've installed a sprue inside the fuselage when constructing and a hole is drilled out to expose the sprue. After construction a Tamiya's acrylic tube is attached to the sprue and display base.

This is my first TUDM hornet and an experiment in mounting a model.

1/48 Italeri F/A-18D
Then there is this 1/48 Hornet using Italeri kit. Its a nightmare. Canopy does not fit the rails/cockpit (being that the cockpit is too narrow. OOB again for this kit which is a another commission build.

Weathering is minimal. Note from the top view you can see some different shades. It arises out of different session of airbrushing which unintentionally resulted in more realistic weathering. Wheel bays are oil washed..
