The Super Mystere served in as the IAF's front line interceptor only a short time until replaced by the Mirage IIIC of the 101sq in April of 1962.  With the introduction of the  Mach 2 capable Mirage IIIc, the Super Mystere was repainted in a blue and brown over gray scheme and assigned attack missions.

The "friends" of the Super Mystere are AML's 1/72 scale 101sq Mirage IIIc no.59 and Hellers 1/72 scale Hornet squadron Ouragan.   These aircraft operated from the same air base of Hatzor during the late
1950's.
