This is my first
submission to the ARC site and it is also the first model I've ever built.
While it was my first kit in real action, I've visited this site hundreds
times and learned countless things before I opened the box of this kit.
This site is highly appreciated!

I built the kit
OOB with the kit's relatively toyish cockpit because I planned to display
it with closing canopy. I believe closing any exterior gears
including the canopy and air brake can reflect the Flanker's beautiful
shape
more adequately. This kit comes with kind of mixed quality meaning
that while it captures the exterior detail very well, it lacks the fine
composition in the cockpit and gear bays. Part of the panel lines
are finely crafted and few of them are a little bit too sallow. The
pros of this kit is its details in rivets and the very accurate shape
replicated. The shape accuracy of this kit is far more better than
the 1/32 Trumpeter Flanker which comes with two major shape errors: 1) The
shortened nose clone, 2) The curved bottom line of the air intake ducts.
I am too lazy to
do the tedious missile work, so this plane comes without any weapon load as well
as the pylons. Anyway, I want you to see what my first model looks like as
hurried as I was and finally I am there. Thank you for having a look and don't
hesitate to email me at by clicking my name at the top of this article.
Happy
modeling!
