One
of the most important airplane samples of the German aircraft industry, in
World War 2 included the Ju 52/3m that was developed in 1932. Because of its
outstanding flight characteristics the Ju-52 ascended to become theflagship of
German Lufthansa. It has the pointed name "aunt", because it was
to be flown so good-naturedly. In the Junkers works in Dessau
during the production time 1932 to 1952 nearly 5000 Ju 52/3m were built.
Two thirds of them during the second World War for different tasks of transportation
of the German Air force.

Since
the airplane looked so alone, I decided to arrange the whole in a Diorama.
Therefore I fell back to the military range in 1/48 and used figures and
vehicles, which were painted accordingly. The model was predominantly
built according to structural drawings and original pictures from the
Internet. The building went relatively well. As for colors, I had
to adapt them to match the original and I used Model Master Metalizer colors to polish.
Afterwards the details were also painted black.
