Our local model club
decided to do a what-if build of the Northrop F-20 Tigershark and this is my
first rendition. We decided to use the Hasegawa kit in 1/72 scale as it was
widely available, inexpensive and really easy to build. The emphasis of this
build was to see how many different paint schemes we could come up with. The
inspiration for this scheme came from a Czech SU-25 which had the front of
the plane painted to resemble a shark.

The shark mouth and Czech
markings were taken from a Mini Print Decals sheet and the gills were hand
painted. The tiger stripes were made by scanning a 1/48th Italian
Tigermeet decal sheet and sending it to Photoshop where it was cleaned up
and printed at 66% to reduce it to 1/72 scale.
The model was detailed with a True
Details F-5 seat, Hasegawa pilot and the excellent Aires GE F404 exhaust
nozzle. This is my first ARC submission and I hope you like it.
