Hi,

This is the Academy Hornet model.  I used decals from Eagle Strike and got myself some SMD-LEDs for the position and anti-collision lights.  Also the 3 MFD screens are lit and the HUD works too.

Some additional photo-etched parts from Eduard are in the cockpit.  Honestly there is no need for the photo-etched armament set.  

I did a black painting first and afterwards a couple of thin layers in grey, getting more and more colours on each panels from the engraved panel lines inwards so the lines look kind of weathered…

The formation lights were painted in Revell´s night color instead of using the decals so in dimmed light or at night, all lights are working and the formation lights look really realistic.
