This is my 1:32 Hasegawa
Bf109G-10. It is a well known kit for large scale builders. It usually fits
well but the weak cockpit needs some aftermarket goodies. As for decals, I picked Heinz
Ewald's profile with a small pork (Looks great, doesn't it? :) )
I used Eduard's colored seat belts for 109G types. Beside that I cut off middle
part of fuel pipe in cockpit and filled with Testor's clear fix for transparent
look. Also, I used old PE parts and piece of sprue for canopy
mechanism. The last
Aftermarket item was Quickboost's 109G/K resin exhaust pipes. I must admit I am
impressed with Quickboost's quality. I guess I will keep buying their stuff.

Modelmaster RLM 76/81/82 used for
painting. And I added a bit flat white into RLM 81/82 and applied into
panels for some 'weathered' look. Tamiya's X-22 was used for gloss coating
and for matt I used Humbrol's.
It was fun to built. I can recommend Hasegawa's 1/32 scale Gustav to
modellers who like big Luftwaffe birds. Just a minor challenge for wing
roots and a pair of seatbelts are required..
Happy modelling..
Zafer
