--------------------

The four A/C represented on this sheet are from the late 70s to early 80s time frame.  They come from two squadrons in the JASDF, the 202nd Hikotai from Nyutabaru AB and from the 203rd Hikotai from Komatsu AB in Japan.

Komatsu Air Base was the site of many gunnery meets that the F-104J would engage in during this time frame.  These were similar to the old US William Tell competitions.  The 202nd and 203rd always made it a point to paint their A/C up special for these gunnery meets and four great examples of this are on this sheet.

Two complete sets of stencil data as well as two different styles of Hinomarus (meatballs) are included with this sheet.  Approximate FS numbers are also given for the paint colors.  What the actual colors are is anyone's guess.

The Twobobs worked with Darren Mottram (you know who he is!) to try to get these as close as possible.  If you have any other references at your disposal outside of what they used, by all means, bang away at this.  It's all open to interpretation with these A/C anyways.

A cool variation for your Hasegawa F-104J for one of the last users of the "Manned Missile".

The decals are contained on 2 separate decal sheets.  Printing quality wis very crisp and clear.  I saw no problem with register on any of the decals.

The colours look good and the decals are the usual high quality we expect from Two Bobs.

These decals are very well done and the Instruction sheets are quite complete and list the paint colours for each jet in a variety of model paint manufacturers.  I highly recommend these decals to anyone that has been waiting to do some colourful and very unique and eye catching F-104's!!!

This sheet is available through  http://www.twobobs.net/ and select US Hobby Shops.  Overseas customers can purchase these from Twobobs site or through Twobobs network of overseas distributors.  Remember, shipping is always FREE to US Customers at Twobobs!!
