1/32 Hawk 75 Part 2 decal sheet

This new decal sheet from Cutting Edge Modelworks includes markings for 4 different Hawk 75's.  

The first aircraft is a Hawk 75A-3   GC I/4, 2 Esc. flown by Sgt. Georges Lemare out of Cap-Vert, Dekar in 1942.  Sgt. Georges Lemare had 5 kills to his credit.  The paint scheme is a very colourful with the topside camo consisting of Beige Sable/Kaki/Ombre Calcinee/Vert Fonce.   

The underside is Gris-Bleu Fonce.  The forward part of the tail and the engine cowling if red and yellow striped.  The rudder is red/white/blue vertical stripes.  National insignia are  red/white/blue Vichy roundels with a white horizontal stripe.  The artwork on the side of the fuselage under the canopy is a red and white bird of prey.  This aircraft has a white "9" on a  black circular background on the side of the tail.  There are 2 sheets of painting masks to assist in the painting of the red and yellow stripes on this model.

The second aircraft is a Hawk 75A-3   GC II/4, 3 Esc. flown by Sergent-chef Antoine Casenobe in 1940.  Sergent-chef Antoine Casenobe had 7 kills to his credit during WW2.  The paint scheme is a very colourful with the topside camo consisting of  Gris-Bleu Fonce/Kaki/Ombre Calcinee.   The underside is Gris-Bleu Clair.   The rudder is red/white/blue vertical stripes.  

National insignia are red/white/blue roundels.  The artwork on the side of the rear fuselage is a red devil flying on a broom.  There is also white text on the side of the fuselage under the windscreen that reads "Fan-Fan-La-Tulipe". This aircraft has a white "7" on the side of the tail.  

The third aircraft is a Hawk 75A-4   GC II/5, 3 Esc. was possibly flown by Lt Georges Ruchoux out of North Africa in 1940.  The paint scheme is a very colourful with the topside camo consisting of Gris-Bleu Fonce/Kaki/Ombre Calcinee.   The underside is Gris-Bleu Clair.  The rudder is red/white/blue vertical stripes.  National insignia are  red/white/blue Vichy roundels with a white horizontal stripe.  

The fourth aircraft is a Hawk 75A-3   GC II/5, 3 Esc.   Lafayette Escadrille in 1940.  The paint scheme is a very colourful with the topside camo consisting of Beige Gris-Bleu Fonce/Kaki/Ombre Calcinee.   The underside is Gris-Bleu Clair.  The rudder is red/white/blue vertical stripes.  National insignia are red/white/blue roundels.  The artwork on the side of the rear fuselage is a native Indian chief in full ceremonial feathered head dress with a green diagonal stripe on the rear fuselage.  This aircraft has a white "7" on the side of the tail.  

The decals were flawlessly printed and in perfect registration.  

The instructions are clear and include colour drawings to assist in decal placement as well as having the specific colours listed to aid in the painting process.  There is also 2 pages of text including information about 3 aircraft.

A very nice decal sheet and will be helpful for anyone building a big 1/32 Hawk kit using the Trumpeter P-40B with the Cutting Edge Modelworks resin P-36 conversion set.
