This new decal sheet from Yellow Hammer Decals includes markings for three Superbugs in colourful markings.  The recommended kit for these decals is the 1/48 Hasegawa kit.

The first jet is an F/A-18F with VFA-11 flown by LCDR. Lawrence.  This Red Rippers jet is two tone grey with red highlights on the tails and dark blue areas around the canopy for anti-glare panels etc.  The tips of the tails are red (included as decals).  Plane # is 101 and most numbers and markings on this jet are red.  There is tail art of a wild boar head above a shield.

The second jet is an F/A-18F with VFA-213 Black Lions flown by Capt. Bill Sizemore.  This two tone grey jet features dark blue rudders with  yellow stars and dark blue areas around the canopy for anti-glare panels etc.  The tips of the tails are dark blue like the rudders.  There is a diagonal stripe with stars on the side of the fuselage below the canopy.  Plane # is 200.  There is tail art of a black lion with a yellow outline.

The third jet is an F/A-18F with VFA-11 flown by Capt Massey, CAG.  This Red Rippers jet is two tone grey with red highlights on the tails and dark blue areas around the canopy for anti-glare panels etc.  The tips of the tails are red (included as decals).  Plane # is 100 and most numbers and markings on this jet are red.  There is tail art of a wild boar head over a red lighting bolt.

The decals were flawlessly printed and the clear carrier film is trimmed very close to the crisply printed colored areas.  The colours look good and will cover very well.

It's good to see more colourful tmarkings being released for the Super Bug

Special credit goes out to Dana "Smudge" Potts for his efforts to make this sheet possible.

A very nice decal sheet and it is a pleasure to see markings for the newest USN jet.

I would like to thank Cutting Edge Modelworks for providing me with this review sample.
