This latest release from Lifelike Decals decal sheet features four different Me-109's.  This is Part 4 of  a series dealing with the Me-109 in Luftwaffe markings from the May of 1940 in France to May 1945. 

The first plane is a Me-109 E-3, Black 1, flown by Maj. Ernst Freiherr von Berg, Kdr. III/JG26 probably May 1940 at Chievres AB in Belgium.  This aircraft sports 3 Staffel emblems of III Gruppe which include a red heart a and old man running with a cane above his head and a red winged lion (?) on the rudder.  You also get the Schlageter on the side of the fuselage by the cockpit.  Paint is RLM 71/02/65. 

The second plane is a Me-109 E-4, flown by Kdr. II/JG26 period and location unknown.  This aircraft sports 3 Staffel emblems of III Gruppe which include what appear to be a diving raven, mountain goat and tiger head on the side of the fuselage.  There is alsoa  thin yellow band going around the fuselage behind the cockpit.  You also get the Schlageter on the side of the fuselage by the cockpit.  Paint scheme is RLM 74/75/76. 

The third plane is a Me-109 G-6, (W. Nr. 411960) flown by Hpt. Franz Dorr, Kdr. III/JG5,  in the middle of May 1945 at Grossen AB/ Finland.  This aircraft has a huge number of victory markings on the tail.  This aircraft has yellow  wing tips and a black and yellow theatre bandsand a black and white prop spinner.  The paint scheme RLM 74/75/76. On the side of the engine cowling is a shield/emblem for JG5of a rising sun with the letters "EIRMEER". 

The fourth plane is a Me-109 G-14/AS "Red 10" flown by Uffz. Wolfgang "Lumpi" Hudsdorfer" of 2/JG300 in September 1944 at Esperstedt AB Germany.  This aircraft has a red theatre band and a black and white prop spinner.   Artwork on the side of the engine cowling is a puppy with a 4 engined bomber in it's mouth.

The quality of these decals is of very good quality.  The decals themselves are clearly printed and in perfect register.  Some decals come in 2 layers to ensure perfect registration.
