This new decal
sheet from
Fightertown
Decals includes
markings for 2 different 1/144 F-14B's with VFA-103 Jolly Rogers on the Last
Tomcat Cruise. This decal sheet also includes drop tank and Lantirn
Pod markings.
There
is a long list of people that helped on this sheet including Brian Marbrey, Mike
Pister, Dan Teker, Mike Zweirko, Dave Brown and members of VF-103 Jolly Rogers -
Fear the Bones. Well done Guys!!!
The first
aircraft is a F-14B Tarps Upgrade BuNo 163217 Victory 103 in 2004. The
paint scheme for this aircraft is lo-viz grey with black accents with yellow
highlights. The
rudders are black with white skull and cross bones markings and yellow fin tips.
There is also a black anti-glare panel in-front and behind the canopy.
The
second aircraft is
a F-14B Tarps Upgrade BuNo
163217 Victory 101 in 2004. The
paint scheme for this aircraft is lo-viz grey with dark grey accents. The
rudders are dark gray with light gray skull and cross bones markings.
Markings on the fuselage are in black and also grey.

The instructions are clear and
include 3 views of each aircraft. There is also weapons loadout
information included in the instruction sheets. The decals are beautifully
printed on 1 decal sheet with one insert decal sheets. The quality of the decals is
excellent.....which is amazing for 1/44 scale.
1/144 models are a hoot to build
and it's very exciting to see a decal manufacturer willing to produce decal
sheets in this scale. And no doubt about it.....Jolly Rogers Tomcat decals
rock!!!
