Twobobs is famous for their decal sheets for aggressor aircraft and this latest sheet delivers the goods with 5 different F-5E aggressor aircraft from the 57th FWW at Nellis AFB.  One very cool feature of this sheet is you get enough markings for all 5 aircraft.

With the recent release of the AFV Club F-5E kit, you now have the decals and the kit to make these great looking F-5E aggressor aircraft.

The five aircraft on this sheet include the Old Blue/New Blue/Grape/Ghost schemes.

The aircraft are the following:

  • F-5E, USAF S/N 74-1565 with the 57th FWW, 65th AGRS in 1985.  The camo scheme is the 3 tone "Old Blue" scheme.

  • F-5E, USAF S/N 74-1537 with the 57th FWW, 64th AGRS in 1987.  The camo scheme is the 3 tone "New Blue" scheme.

  • F-5E, USAF S/N 74-1531 with the 57th FWW in 1978.  The camo scheme is the 3 tone "Grape" scheme.

  • F-5E, USAF S/N 74-1505 with the 57th FWW in 1976.  The camo scheme is the 2 tone "Ghost" scheme.

  • F-5E, USAF S/N 74-1557 with the 57th FWW in 1980.  The camo scheme is the 3 tone "Old Blue" scheme.

Recommended Kits:

  • AFV Club F-5E
  • Monogram F-5E
  • Eduard Photoetch
  • Avionix Cockpit
  • Wolfpack Resin Upgrades

The instructions are clear and include 4 views of each aircraft.  The decals are beautifully printed on 1 decal sheet with 2 smaller insert sheets.  Paint codes are called out in FS #'s, Testors MM, Humbrol, Gunze Sangyo and Xtracrylics.

References for this sheet were provided by former USAF pilot Don Logan, so you know the references were well done and very extensive.

I'm pretty excited about this new sheet and with the new AFV F-5E kit, I know this sheet is going to be a fast seller.

This sheet is available through http://www.twobobs.net/ and select US Hobby Shops.  Overseas customers can purchase these from Twobobs site or through Twobobs network of overseas distributors.
