This latest release from Lifelike Decals features four different very colorful P-51 Mustangs.  This is Part 2 of  a series dealing with the P-51 Mustang in Europe from June 1944 to May of 1945.

The 4 aircraft all have some sort of noseart or artwork and 2 have D-Day stripes and one has a blue nose...plus 2 have the Malcolm hood canopy and 2 have the later canopy...and one aircraft has sexy noseart.

Hofer of 4FG/334FS, Debden AB, England on June 4 1944.  Paint scheme is overall bare metal with a red spinner and a red stripe on the tail, olive drab anti-glare panel and olive drab on all the upper surfaces.  Center of canopy has a yellow frame.  This aircraft has a large number of kill markings and the artwork is a wing Donkey wearing boxing gloves and boxing shirt and standing on it's hind legs.

The quality of these decals is of very good quality.  The 2 decal sheets and one small insert decal sheet are clearly printed and in perfect register.  Some decals come in 2 layers with the bottom decal being a white decal to ensure the colorful upper decal remains bright and colorful.  The 4 pages of instruction sheets include 3 view color profiles to assist you with decal placement.  You also get a separate instruction sheet showing 4 view profile line drawings indicating generic stencil placement.

Wow this sheet is loaded with variety in markings and noseart....these 4 Mustangs are very colorful examples of P-51's that flew in the final stages of WW2.
