David Rapasi is back with another of his weathered gems.  This is his 1/48 Monogram F100 D Super Sabre as it appeared in SEA in the '69-'70 time period.  David gave his F-100 a stunning weathering job that makes his F-100 look exactly as I would expect the real jet to look.  What a beauty!!!

Ed Ellickson is here with a very colorful 1/72 Sword P-80B.  Ed built this from the Sword F-80C kit and he explains mods needed to backdate the C to a B. I love the paint scheme he chose.  Beautifully executed model Ed, you got everything looking just right.

  Lebanon National Day

It is with a heavy heart that I learned that ARC's own Gary Porter has passed away at the young age of 48 from a brain aneurysm this past Thursday.  Gary was the main man and driving force behind the Kits 4 Kandahar back in 2006.  Gary was known by the ARC forums name of GaryP....he will be sadly missed by all who were touched by him.  My condolences go out to Gary's family and friends.
As a side note.....high blood pressure can sometimes cause a brain aneurysm......get your blood pressure checked once a year as high blood pressure usually occurs in your 40's.
