Tony Feredo is here with another gem.  This is his sharp looking 1/48 Hasegawa Ki-43-IIb Hayabusa (Oscar) in the markings for an aircraft that operated out of the Philippines in late 1944.  Tony chose a great looking mottled camo scheme and painted most of the markings.  Excellent work Tony.

Sam Ching took the tiny 1/144 - 2 in 1 - F-toys F-4 Phantom RAF and rescribed the panel lines and finished them as two RAF birds complete with weathering.  These are great examples of the fun you can have building 1/144 kits.  I enjoyed seeing these on ARC.

Eric Hargett  added a resin cockpit to further enhance his flawless 1/48 Hasegawa Republic P-47D Razorback.  The markings are from an aftermarket decal sheet for a Jug that served in the Pacific during WW2 and include sexy nose art.  It's a treat to see this one on ARC and I love the weathering and noseart.  Excellent job Eric.

Jens Gerber is here with an aircraft you seldom see as a model.  This is the challenging 1/48 Special Hobby Bücker 181 "Bestmann" that Jens built into a great looking model.  Jens shows that this kit does build into a great looking model with skill and patience.  It's good to see a Bücker 181 "Bestmann" of these on ARC.

Dragan Cvetic joins us today with his very attractive 1/72 Trumpeter MiG-29 IRIAF.  Dragan scratchbuilt the pitot tube, seatbelts and HUD and then gave his Iranian MiG a very attractive camo scheme complete with subtle weathering.  I love the look of his Fulcrum.

Michael Phillips is here with his award winning 1/48 Tamiya F-16C Aggressor - Blizzard of 69.  Michael enhanced the cockpit with an Aires cockpit set and gave it a very special winter camo with markings from an aftermarket decal sheet.  I love what he used for the static dissipators...tooth brush bristles.....simply brilliant.  She is a beauty Michael and I can see why it was awarded 1st place.

Jens Gerber is here with his 1/48 Great Wall Hobby Fw 189 A1 Ski Version finished in winter camo.  The cockpit has a large canopy that is partly opened, so Jens added Eduard photo etch to the cockpit to further improve the cockpit detail.  Since many places still have snow at the moment, this winter camo makes plenty of sense.  Jens has given his model a beautifully weathered and tired looking winter camo.

Huberlu is here with a first on ARC today.  This is his 1/48 Hi-Tech Voisin 10 Ca2, which is the 1st of this aircraft type on ARC.   Huberlu did plenty of extra scratchbuilding to his WWI bi-plane to give it an exceptional level of detail.  This is one very delicate looking model and it is properly displayed in a wonderful diorama setting with gas cans and a pilot figure.  Excellent work Huberlu.

Klaasjan Schuuring is here with a real classic ERTL kit.  This is his 1/48 Italeri Lockheed Martin ES-3A Shadow in all it's glory and upgraded with plenty of Eduard photo etch.  Klaasjan used pre-shading to give his USN jet a more realistic look and the finished model does look first class.  Yet more proof that you can build a fine looking model if you give these older kits a bit of love and patience.
