The F-86 Sabre is
probably one of the most famous jet fighters ever built and it gained its place in
history during Korea War. The Academy Kit is quite good although the decals
are thick and the fit of the parts in some areas will test your filling and
sanding abilities. I replaced the ejection seat with a seat from
Legend (kit #4028) and for the painting I used Alclad II (# 101, 103,
112, 113).

The diorama represents the plane
in the end of the Korean winter in 1953. For the melting
snow I used baking soda mixed with water and white glue. The
technicians are from ICM (kit #48083) and Verlinden (kit #0482).
The
PSP base is from Eduard (#8804). The ammunition cases, tool boxes and
camera are scratch build.
Thanks for looking.
