Malayan Airways 1947-68
A total of 11 DC3 aircraft joined Malayan Airways. From Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, they flew daily flights out to Penang, Ipoh, Kuching, Labuan and Kota Kinabalu among others.
This particular aircraft was an ex-RAF Dakota III, and served from 1947 up to 1968, when it was retired and sold to Indonesia.

This one was built using Monogram Eastern Airliner DC-3 kit, which is the correct airliner version with seats, and not the cargo C-47. Decals from Hawkeye Models Australia for 9M-ALO
