Sometimes you loose
interest in a model as it comes together. This is one of those models. I do not
know if it was the poor fit of the Revell kit, or the less then inventive paint
scheme I picked.

The kit itself is a
putty hog. The nose section required LOTS of putty and no doubt you can see the
modeller (me) just said screw it and did not bother come the time to install the
clear parts. The decals are the saving grace. They look realistic and a for a
standard CF-18A with modified numbers from Leading Edge.
The choice of markings is simple, I
figure if we get the CF-18E (F and G?) the first couple will go to our test
group AETE. So their markings are on the fin. The extra wing tanks are from a
Hasegawa F-18F kit.
