The Breda Ba.88b was a beautiful airplane that was great as a pre-war racer but, an abject failure as a ground attack aircraft in Libya. Soon relegated to non-frontline duties, the Breda 88 when it did reach the field was often stripped of all usable parts and then taken to the dump! The problem was weight, and lateral stability. I tried replicating the camouflage faithful to MPM’s instructions, even though I could find no photo evidence of this pattern.

MPM chose to include an
injection molded canopy. I found this to be clear but clunky
looking. Instead I used Squadron’s wonderful vacuformed canopy.
