1/32 Tamiya P-51D Mustang "Butch Baby"

This is 1/32 Tamiya P-51D Mustang with the markings of "Butch Baby" flown by Joseph Broadhead, Commander of 362nd FS, 357th FG, March 1945.

Cockpit modified with Barracudacast resin seat, Yahu instrument panel and RB production P-51D Mustang cockpit floor decal.

I have decided to puttying the rivets on the wing surfaces. Required surfaces have been puttied by Tamiya basic putty.

Painting done with Gunze Sangyo acrylics. Upper surfaces painted to British Dark green and under surfaces to grey.

National insignias and red/yellow checkers on the nose filched from a suitable EagleCals set. Code numbers, tail numbers and nose art are from old Hasegawa's kit.

Finally wheels replaced by Barracudacast's goodies.
