S211 is currently
the main aircraft trainer in service with the Republic of Singapore Air Force. It
has been relocated to Australia and we hardly see them in Singapore
skies. In service with the RSAF for more than ten years, it was acquired to
replace the noisy Lockheed T33 and BAC Strikemaster. Some of the S211
have been decommissioned due to expired airframe hours. That means we might have
a new trainer in sight for the near future. Bae hawk??? I hope so, as some of
our pilots are trained in Bae Hawk in Canada.

This is a limited
run die-cast model which comes in two version, fully painted/assembled and
non-painted version in white (OOP). It comes in with a clear display
stand in a hard white box packaging. One of the major problem
encountered with the first production run of the model is the canopy which
is out of shape. The second run of this model will have a redesign canopy to
correct the problem.
