This
is a Roden plastic model of a plane flew by Oblt. Erich Lowenhardt in August,
1918. The kit went together relatively easy with no major fit problems. I
used Polly S and ModelMaster acrylic paints for this one. The most difficult
part was using the thick lozenge decals. I had to apply the decals on as I
assembled to ease placement. I used ample amounts of Microsol to get them to lay
down. The horizontal stripes were cut from a spare decal sheet I had. All
in all, I am pleased with the results...and I didn't have to pull out the
airbrush! I love these colorful schemes used on WWI planes.
