Silly Week 2005

Here are a pair of Monogram 48th scale beauties. Always liked these kits, cheap, easy to build, and look rather good when finished ! The F-14 is OOB, while the F-18 has dropped flaps and slats, as well as the extended undercarriage.

They were both painted at work ( thanks boss ! ) using my Aztec and Xtracolor paints. The tiger marking were hand painted, using photos of German Tornados and Belgian F-16s. Many thanks to Patrick Heeren for the photos, as well as mark and Wayne for supplying the extra tanks !

Cheers guys !

" A close call at the NATO Tigermeet of 1993, when a GAF Tomcat and a Belgian Hornet almost collided over the runway at Kleine Brogel, Belgium.
