This is my new
model, a P-47M from Revell in 1/72nd scale. I added a Verlinden set to the
kit to improve the details. The set contains resin gun bays, resin
cockpit, and engine detail. I used like usual Lifecolor acrylic paints for
the camouflage and Alclad II for the metallic paints.

The model depicts
the P-47M-1 which was assigned to the major George Bostwick, from the 56th
fighter group, the famous "Wolf pack". In April 1945 the 56th FG
was based in Boxted, in England. Maj Bostwick finished the war with 8
kills. On 7 April 1945, Botswick damaged a Me 262 in this aircraft.
