"Ay Chuhuahua"

In early 2006 I was digging thru some boxes in my garage when I came across a cardboard box labeled "Young  Model Builders Club" with a postmark from Parent's magazine. I vaguely remember my aunt subscribing to this for me in the late 1960's or early 70's. Inside was a bagged Monogram P-39 and a P-47. There was also a Superscale decals sheet #48 - 2. I don't think that the decal sheet was part of  the club, but it certainly is one of the oldest Superscale sheets.

There were a few pieces missing from the P-47, but nothing major. The kit went together well and the decals were OK with some Microscale liquid decal film applied. The NMF is SNJ powder mixed with Future and then buffed with more SNJ powder after about an hour's drying time.

Lot so fun from a kit that has been hiding out for over 30 years.
