This is the 1:72 scale
model of the Super Frelon (made by Match); and in spite of the
fact that the injection mold quality is so terrible, with enough patience
you can obtain a fairly similar helicopter to the real one. I had seen
several reference pictures of this model and even one not so true of mixed
S.A.R. version with the one provided in the box with a pair of the famous
"Exocet" missiles; however, I preferred to build the one with
the missiles, without having to move away from the pattern of the real aircraft.

This model
represents very well the multi-utilitarian version of this great helicopter
used to long by the French Marine, that in occasions, as the here assembled, was
used as supporting platform for the launching of the air-earth Exocet missiles,
well remembered by the English for his tremendous effectiveness in the
Faulkland's war.
The last picture shows to the
landed real aircraft, that was wanted to represent.
