Hi
again. Here's my P-51 from Accurate Miniatures. I was quite excited to build this
one since it was my first time to build an AM kit. Although an excellent
kit out of the box, I decided to do some modifications. I cut the flaps
and elevators and positioned them in the dropped position. I also used a
Tamiya P-51B
canopy so that I could open up the cockpit, and since the inner framing of
the canopy door would be quite visible when opened, I also masked and
painted it too. The pilot's rear armor plate is from
Tamiya and the belts are from the Eduard set.

The propeller
blades were quite thick, so I sanded them down to scale.
I used Gunze Mr. Color and
Tamiya paints on the model.
Hope you guys
like it.
