To go along with
my bunch of VF-84/103 Tomcats here are a bunch of VF-41 Tomcats. VF-41 was
the first or 100 squadron attached to CVW-8 from the mid 1970's to 2001
when they switched to the west coast flying superbugs. All of the models
are 1/48 Hasegawa Tomcats. I used to have a bunch of 1/72 VF-41 Tomcats
but they have either been painted pink by my daughters, given to the
Canadian Warplane heritage museum or in a couple cases mailed to other
ARCer.

The
full colour 1977 version is using the wonderful Aeromaster CVW-8 decals,
that set gave me the decals to do almost every squadron on the second
cruise of the Nimitz back in 1977.
Next
"107" is using the very old "Detail and scale" decals
representing the Libyan Mig shoot down back in 1981.
"103"
is using "Yellowhammers" Last Tomcat cruise 2001 markings.
"101"
was just completed using a very sought after Superscale sheet. I should
have sold this sheet for A LOT of money but decided to build my stash
instead.
