What the stink is he talking about???? Phantoms 104 and 105???

Well, these are the 104th and 105th Phantoms that are on my display shelves. I had others over the years, but they have been retired to the bone yard or painted pink by monkey girl. So I don't count them. Phantoms 106 and 107 are now in the planning stage.

Anywho. Both of these are built out of the box. Both are Hasegawa. And both are built for the 50th anniversary of the F-4 Phantom group build in the ARC forums.

The 1/48th is the recently re-re-released F-4C/D. Raised panel lines, Questionable cockpit, this time with Bi-centennial markings. Those decals look nice but I have wanted to do a nice Alabama plane ever since meeting Sabre and A-4 back two years ago in Alabama on a return trip from Dizzy-world. Thanks again for supper Jim!!!!!

Anyway, the model.....Ahhhhh....1/48, added nothing apart from the Superscale decals and the Hasegawa Mavericks. Why the Mavericks? I don't know. Seemed like a good idea. I don't even know if the AANG even ever flew with them or not. I have 105 stinking Phantoms on display, most with Sidewinders and Sparrows. Figured one or two ought to have some mud blowing up capability.

The little guy is a Hasegawa 1/72 RF-4E. Completely out of the box, even using the kit decals. Built it wheels up, again for something different. Only problem was finding pilots. I Had a couple trashed CF-18s (and 27 other damaged planes)thanks to my evil cat. So two fly guys got a transfer from the Canadian Forces base in Cold Lake to fly recon for Germany. (They seem happy enough and did not complain during the transfer. Even after I repainted them into orange flight suits.)
