I used
the older 1/72 RVHP Letov Š.20/II resin kit (No.7214; 1999 year) for my
Letov Š.20 project.
I
built the Š.20 mainly out of box. I added and modified several parts
(wind shield, exhaust tubes, guns, wheels, radiators etc). I have used Agama
enamels colours for painting.
The
Letov
Š.20 was a Czechoslovak bi-plane fighter produced by the Letov company from 1925.

Real
Š.20 (2nd series) “XI” was used as fighter aircraft by
39.letka, LP2 (39th flight, Air Regiment No.2). Red fin and
number “XI” are “manoeuvring” marking used during “air combat
manoeuvring" in September 1931 when 39th flight based
at combat airfield Stránecká Zhoř near Velké Meziříčí,
Moravia.
