  Turkish Republic Day 2008

Hello! I have finished another Tamiya F-16, this time in TuAF markings. Since it is a block 40 viper, I did some changes on the kit. Firstly, I added Wolfpack Designs dragchute and ECM antenna set to my model. In addition, I used Orion Scale Model's fuselage reinforcement plates for conversion to a block 40.

For the painting, I used Vallejo Air 71050 Light Grey for the downside, Gunze H306 for tail and front upper fuselage and Gunze H305 for upper fuselage color. I applied oil wash for panel lines and weathered slightly by pastels. For the loadout, I used kit's sidewinder, Hasegawa weapons set D for GBU-12s and the AGM-65 Maverick from Italeri A-10 kit. For the decals, I used Zotz decals and Italeri decals for stencils, Turqoise Decals for roundels and flags, and custom made 'Dagger' and the 'Horse' decals.

This F-16 is from 132. Hançer (Dagger) filo which is located in 3rd main jet base in Konya. This jet base is also used for the famous Anatolian Eagle exercises in Turkey.

I hope you like my F-16 in TuAF markings. :) I would like to thank to Mr. Omer Erkmen and A.Cagri Acikgoz for their valuable helps. More photos can be found at www.plasticbattle.com
