On May 1
2003 President George W. Bush flew out to the carrier USS Abraham
Lincoln and made the first arrested carrier landing of a sitting
President in US history. The visit was a morale booster for the US
military. This decal sheet includes the markings for that historic
plane as well as the Santa Tracker scheme.
A couple of
years ago I remember seeing the picture of the airliner with Santa
spread across the nose. I remember thinking it was a pretty funny
paint scheme. It seems the folks at VS-35 thought the same thing.
It's good to see decals of this design.
This decal
sheet features markings for the CAG bird from the
Blue Wolves that was adorned with special Christmas markings for their
cruise in 2002. Very humorous and colorful markings
for the re-released Italeri S-3B. Complete stencil data for this
jet included.
It's a
fairly straight forward paint scheme......Santa pinned to the nose with
presents spreading down both sides of the fuselage. On
the tail is a large Blue Wolf with a weapon in a holster like a
Old Wild West Gun Slinger. The instruction sheets include all the
painting info you'll need, plus color numbers for 4 different brands of
paint as well as the FS#'s.
