This latest release from Lifelike Decals decal sheet features four different Me-109's.  This is Part 3 of  a series dealing with the Me-109 in Luftwaffe markings from the summer of 1940 in France to Oct 1944.

The first plane is a Me-109 G-6/AS, White 1, 10 (N) Moskito/JG300, Juterbog AB/Germany in October/November 1944.  This aircraft sports a shooting star Staffel emblem on both sides of the nose with a red theatre band.

The second plane is a Me-109 E-3, flown by Oblt. Hasselmann, Geschwader Adjutant/JG26 out of Audembert in France in the summer of 1940.  This aircraft has the Schlageter (white shield with a black "S") and the Geschwader Stab emblem (a knight riding a horse).  The prop spinner is black with a white spiral (included as a decal).

The third plane is a Me-109 G-2/Trop, flown by Hptm Heinz Bar, Kdr. 1/JG77, Comiso AB/ Italy in the late summer of 1942.   This aircraft has a huge number of victory markings on the tail.  This aircraft has yellow under the nose cowling as well as white  wing tips and a white theatre band.  The artwork is Bar's personal marking, consisting of a baby lion (which was gifted to him from the Leipzig Zoo) leaping from the Leipzig city coat- of- arms, and is applied to both sides.

The fourth plane is a Me-109 G-5/AS W. Nr. 110064, flown by Maj. Gunther Specht, Kdr.  II/JG11, Wunstorf/Germany in April 1944.  This aircraft has a yellow theatre band and a black and white prop spinner.  This aircraft also features 30 kill markings applied to both sides of the tail.  The JG11 emblem  is applied to the side of the fuselage below the canopy.

The quality of these decals is of very good quality.  The decals themselves are clearly printed and in perfect register.  Some decals come in 2 layers to ensure perfect registration.
