The latest offering from Hi Decal Line features 7 Rf-4C/E Phantom II's from Kentucky ANG, Iranian Air force, Spainish Air Force.   The planes include the following;

  • 1)  RF-4E 2-6511, 33rd TFS, 32nd TFW, Islamic Iranian Air Force (IRIAF, TFB.3 Nojeh, 2001.  This aircraft is one of the genuine reconnaisssance Phantoms supplied to Iran during the early 1970's.  One of only nine Iranian RF-4Es to survive the war with Iraq, this RF-4E was completely overhauled during 2000 and repainted in the new scheme similar to the one currently applied to the F-14 fleet.  
  • 2)  RF-4E 2-6504, 62nd TFS, 61st TFW, Islamic Iranian Air Force (IRIAF, TFB.6 Bushehr, 1985.  One of several "unmarked" RF-4's supplied to Iran from US stocks during the 1970's for clandestine reconnaissance missions beyond the USSR borders.  This aircraft was also intensively used during the war with Iraq and was last seen during 1986.
  • 3)  RF-4E 2-6504, 62nd TFS, 61st TFW, Islamic Iranian Air Force (IRIAF, TFB.6 Bushehr, 1977.  The last of the "whate tailed" RF-4s, supplied directly from US stocks, was used for dozens of secret overflights of the USSR during the 1970's and later flew hundreds of risky missions during the war with Iraq.
  • 4)  RF-4C 65-0835, 165th TRS, 123rd TFW, Kentucky ANG, Standiford Field, Kentucky, November 1986. This is one of four aircraft with special markings aplied for the Reconnaissance Air Meet "RAM 86" held at Bergstrom AFB, Texas 85-0835 was sold to Spain two years later.
  • 5)  RF-4C 65-0835 / CR.12-49 (12-58), 123 Escuadron, Ala 12, Spanish Ejerctito del Aire, Torrejon AB, summer 1993.  During 1992, the overhauled Spanish RF-4C's received  a refuelling probe of Israeli origin as well as a new, standard light grey scheme.  12-58 was "zapped" with the AG 51 badge during a visit in Bremgarten AB, Germany.  This RF-4C also effected the very last flight of a Spanish AF Phantom on 4th February 2003.
  • 6)  RF-4C 65-0835 / CR.12-49 (12-58), 123 Escuadron, Ala 12, Spanish Ejerctito del Aire, Torrejon AB, May 1989.  Previously servings with the 165th TRS, 123rd TFW, Kentucky ANG, the aircraft arrived in Spain in January 1989 and flew during some time in the original Europe One scheme.
  • 7)  RF-4C 65-0835 / CR.12-55 (12-64), 123 Escuadron, Ala 12, Spanish Ejerctito del Aire, Torrejon AB, October 2002.   bCR.12-55A received this special scheme to celebrate the type retirement from EdA operational service.
