New the aftermarket modeling scene
from Hungary is PK Tinyland, operated by Peter Kormos. He is bringing his own
Photo Etch range to the market that will add that finishing touch at great
prices. Peter has been kind to supply me 4 products from his wonderful range to
review. Made from Copper, the parts are nice and thin and very well detailed.
Since the parts are made from copper, it’s nice and easy to bend into position
and allow realistic poses for seat harnesses.
On this Etch set, Peter has supplied
the four common service panels found on Bf 109, Fw 190 and Me 262. There are two
options of oval and round types one larger than the other. A nice bonus is that
Peter has included rivet pattern template for the service panels.
Also on the same fret are 9 panel fasteners. A 3-piece affair, which requires
some styrene rod (not supplied) or stretch sprue.
I would recommend checking out
PK Tinyland’s website, as there are a lot more items Peter does. Which include
PSP Matting, RAF, USN, USAF harnesses, array of modeling tools and barbed wire!
Prices range from USD$1.50 through to USD $12.00 excluding shipping. You can’t
beat those prices!
Peter also offers a Custom Photo Etching service
also. Check out his website (http://www.pktinyland.tk/)
for more information on that service.
I would like to thank you Peter at PK Tinyland for the review samples.
