This new resin nose conversion from Maestro
Models is designed for the Classic
Airframes Canberra model, but it should fit other Canberra kits as well.
This conversion will permit you to create a Tp52 EE Canberra MK 2B. The
Tp52 EE Canberra MK 2B is a radar and radio enhanced aircraft used as
a flying labratory, ESM and reconnaissance aircraft. There were 2 of these
modified Canberras that were operated by the Swedish Air force between 1959 and
1974.

The modifications to the full sized
aircraft consisted of racks in the bomb bay to hold various equipment and a
modified nose. As the inside of the bomb bay is not seen on a model, this
conversion focuses on the modified resin nose. One smart little feature of
this resin nose is the lip that will fit inside the fuselage of your model
after you cut the nose off your model. Another smart feature of this resin
nose is an indentation on the lip that marks the top center of the nose.
The resin casting is flawless and the nose does have recessed panel lines for a
variety of access panels that were on the nose. These should respond well
to a wash to help show this wonderful detail.
This is a simple and quick
conversion that will permit you to build one of the 2 Canberras operated by
Sweden in this unique role and would be a cool addition to any display
case.
You can buy this
ladder direct from the Maestro
Models.
They also have a massive selection of detail items mostly relating to Swedish
jets, so drop by their website to see more cool detail items. I would like
to thank Maestro

the review sample.
